There is more to life than getting through it. Somehow, we are taught that life is measured in successes, earnings, and how far ahead we are than the rest. But it walks with us on every step, hidden in the shade of our ambitions, waiting to be discovered.
It is in the sunlight that peaks through the window in the afternoon, the first rain after a summer, the song that suddenly reminds you of something you thought was lost, and the unexpected kindness of a stranger. It is in the unread books, unexplored places, and people that we have yet to meet.
We don't need to make every day a productive one, sometimes you must just be in the world, and not a single achievement. To explore, to experience and to experiment with, just for the sake of fun and not for the validation of productivity.
There is still so much left for us to see, to know, to experience. A new point of view to understand the world, unfamiliar adventures to challenge us, and random acts of joy that we can make in our everyday life. So let your mind wander freely, without the pressure to achievesomething greater. Because we already have plenty of time to chase dreams, but little time to stop and smell the rain.
After all, a beautiful life is not necessarily a well-lived one. But sometimes it is just a pleasant one to wake up to.
