We often drown ourselves into the miseries of our lives, becoming so consumed by what hurts that we overlook the small joys quietly blooming around us. Sometimes, our grief speaks so loudly that it drowns everything else.
And perhaps, that is one of the hardest things we do to ourselves —neglect the light simply because the shadows feel endless.
Life was never meant to be all sparkles or all shadows. The good and the bad come together, woven into the same imperfect tapestry of life. And though suffering can feel unbearably heavy, it always loosens its hold when joy begins to find its way back home.
So, remember to notice.
Notice the purple in the field. Notice the kindness, the laughter, the little moments of appreciation. Notice the quiet peace within your own heart, even if it lasts only for a moment.
Because sometimes, what we are waiting for isn't something new arriving. Sometimes, it is something beautiful that has been there all along — waiting for you to notice, maybe awaiting just you.
