Life has a strange way of hiding endings inside ordinary moments.
The last hug doesn't feel like the last.
The last conversation feels like just another conversation.
The last family gathering feels like there will always be another.
We never know when we are living a moment for the final time.
Years later, we find ourselves looking at old photographs, wishing we could step back into them—not to change anything, but just to live those few minutes once more.
Maybe that's why we should hold people a little longer, listen a little more carefully, take the picture, and say the words we keep postponing.
Because someday, the ordinary moments we barely noticed may become the memories we would give anything to have back.
And perhaps the hardest part is this:
We never knew it was the last time—until it became a memory.
