Maybe I'm meant to do dishes my whole life with no side dish in life.

Think before you act—what may be a moment for you could become a lifetime of pain for someone else.

Do you also have that burning ache in your heart to be seen? Not just adored, loved, and heard, but truly seen? To have someone know how you like your tea, how you always look up at the sky to catch a glimpse of an airplane, how you like to tie your shoes and one day, have someone surprise you by saying, “Yes, I know you.”

We don't become strong through survival; we become strong out of necessity. When there is no option left but to be brave, we become strong. Judging someone's strength should never have the backdrop of sheer survival.
